Adding or Replacing Bible passages

Change it to another Bible version in three easy steps.

Ready?
Step 1) Open the Bible app and make sure it is set to the Bible version you want. Then, go to the book and the chapter of the passage that you are replacing. Select verses by tapping each one and then copy them.

Step 2) Return to Prayer Prompter and double tap the text of the passage that you are replacing to open the “text edit” screen.

Step 3A) Touch the text anywhere, hold for a moment and release to get the “Select” bar.

Step 3B) Tap “Select All” and you will be given a choice of “Cut | Copy | Paste”.

Step 3C) Tap “Paste” to replace all of the existing text with the text you copied then “Save.”

Some users have discovered an interesting side benefit to this process. You can’t keep from interacting with each passage of Scripture as you copy and paste it so you may find your heart “strangely warmed” as you change them. The reason might just be that “the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword,” and “[My word] shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” (Hebrews 4:12a, Isaiah 55:11b) In other words, don’t think of this process as a burden but rather as an opportunity for blessing!
