What’s What in Prayer Prompter 2.5.4 Beta

• A complete rewrite of the “Notifications” feature in Global Settings which has been re-named “Notification Badge Options“.

  • The “Number of Days Since Last Opened” function has been renamed “Number of Days Since Last Used“. If Prayer Prompter was opened yesterday and the total time spent viewing entries was more than one minute, this function will display a red “badge” with a white “1” starting at midnight indicating that Prayer Prompter was last used yesterday, one day ago. (Previously, the badge would not appear until noon but now it appears 12 hours earlier at midnight.) The number badge will remain until Prayer Prompter is opened and the total time spent viewing entries is more than one minute. If that doesn’t happen on that day, the badge will change to a “2” starting at midnight indicating that this is the second day since Prayer Prompter was last used and the number will increase by one for each additional day.
  • The “Today” History” function has been renamed “Today’s Progress Report“.
  • This function has not been changed. If one of three “Progress” options has been selected, a red badge with a white number will be displayed according to the option chosen.

(For more details, check out the updated “Notification Badge Options” screen in Help Topics or at the Prayer Prompter website, the Notifications Help Options page under the “Get Help” menu tab.)

• iOS 11 compatibility

• Minor bug fixes.

Please note that this will be the last Prayer Prompter version that supports iOS 9. If you are running iOS 9, you will continue to be able to use Prayer Prompter but you will not be able to update Prayer Prompter to future versions unless your are running iOS 10 or higher so please upgrade.
